The OFFICIAL TRUMP token, also called TRUMP, is a meme-based cryptocurrency launched in January 2025. It operates on the Solana blockchain and was announced by Donald Trump through his Truth Social platform.
TRUMP token is marketed as a digital collectible rather than a traditional cryptocurrency. As per the project, the token has no stated investment value or political connection and is intended to represent a cultural association with the Trump brand. The token's design includes a cartoon-style image of Donald Trump and is positioned as the only official meme token linked to him.
The project is managed by CIC Digital LLC and Fight Fight Fight LLC, both of which are affiliated with The Trump Organization. These entities oversee the token’s distribution and hold 80% of the total supply. This portion is locked and will be released gradually over three years.
TRUMP tokens are primarily used for community engagement and online interaction. They may also be involved in promotional activities, reward systems, or other digital events. It serves as a means for holders to gain exclusive access to private events, such as the May 2025 dinner where President Donald Trump met with top token holders. Participation in such events may depend on the size of a holder’s investment or rank within the community.
The TRUMP token has a total supply of 999.99 million. As of now, the circulating supply is 199.99 million tokens. The remaining tokens are held by affiliated entities and are expected to be released gradually according to a predefined schedule.
